There are many ways to plug into a community of believers at Restoration Community Church! We are excited for you to join us in our mission to rebuild individuals, families, and community in Houston's Third Ward. Through these ministries our hope is to to give you the chance to grow in your knowledge and love of God in community.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Do you have an interest in Children's ministry? Or have children you would like to connect with Godly role models? Here are some ways that you, or your children, can get involved at Restoration Community Church.

Teach a Children's Service - A short Children's Service takesplace Sundays mornings. This is a great way to share your love for God and his children! Contact Sarah Massey for more information. Time: 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Play with Kids During Adult Service - Groups and/or individuals volunteer weekly to utilize their energy, love, and talents with RCC's kids during the Adult Service. Time: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Restoration Community Church is committed to living out the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:35-40) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:16-20) in our church, community, the city, and the nations. There are several ways one can serve our local church from Sunday Worship Services and mid week events to outreaches and social events. In addition to serving inside the church family, we encourage you to consider how you can be God’s ambassador to others. Through strategic partnerships we participate in the call to reach the lost with the hope of Jesus Christ in giving and going. We have currently have ongoing partnerships with the Agape Development Ministries, the OST/S. Union Go Neighborhood Youth Council and Safety Initiative, Houston Church Planting Network, the Micah Project in Honduras, and Cuba Missions Project.
Whatever your interest, we want to give you the chance to commit your talents and passions to God and the community. If you are unsure of where your gifts would be best cultivated, or would like to introduce a new ministry please contact Pastor David Hill.
OTHER MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Audio Visual Team: Sunday Service and Special Events are supported by those passionate about production. Serving on this team will manage the sound, light techs, and media throughout programming.
Children Ministry Team: Like to work with kids? Join this team of parents and teachers who facilitate a program for children during the message portion of the Sunday gathering.
Event Team: Annually RCC host several events from neighborhood clean up days and outreach events to retreats and social events. If you enjoying event planning and facilitating, this team is for you!
Facilities Team: Help us take care of what God has given us! From routine building cleaning and property upkeep to event set up to, join a team committed to being a good steward of our facilities.
Hospitality Team: Do you enjoy creating a welcoming environment and offering others assistance? Each Sunday this team seeks to make members and visitors feel welcome through opening doors, greeting, offering coffee, and ushering people to seats.
Men's Ministry Team: RCC and Agape Development partner to serve men throughout the OST/S. Union Community. This team is passionate about developing men through Bible Study and creating additional experiences where they can grow in their walk with Christ.
Prayer Team: One of the greatest gifts God has given His church is prayer. The Prayer Team is committed to offering opportunities for our church to intercede for one another, our church and our community.
Sunday Program Team: Sunday Worship Services don't just happen. It is the result of a team of members who are committed to leading our church to meet with God. If you enjoy developing liturgy, public speaking, and set up and break down this might be the team for you.
Women's Ministry Team: RCC and Agape Development partner to serve women throughout the OST/S. Union Community. This team is passionate about developing women through Bible Study and creating additional experiences where they can grow in their walk with Christ.
Worship Team: Are you a gifted singer? Join the RCC Worship Team! This is a great way to lead others to worship the Lord through song.
Youth Ministry Team: RCC and Agape Development partner to serve teens throughout the OST/S. Union community. There are many roles and opportunities to spend time with 6th-12th grade students: teaching, small group leaders, mentors and more. Check it out!
